Sales Consultant (Level Product)

Job Summary Statement The incumbent will be responsible for the Sales of Level Products and Solutions within Automation and Control Solutions (Radar Level, Ultrasonic Level, DP level and Level Switches). This function is responsible for the creation and maintenance of sustainable customer relationships.
Minimum Requirements ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12
• N3 preferably with Process Instrumentation, where N3 is a minimum requirement
• Industrial Trade Test in Instrumentation (advantageous)

EXPERIENCE:
• Sales experience required
• Two years’ industry experience
• Process Plant Knowledge (advantageous)
• Drivers Licence Required

Duties & Responsibilities • Pursue new customers
• Follow sales strategies in alignment with SPI methodology
• Face to face consultative selling
• Monthly sales forecast report for day to day sales
• Execute defined sales strategies to win and meet sales budget
• Consult with internal support structures for engineering solutions to assist customers
• Gather data required for sizing and selection, refer to sales support and internal resources for solutions
• Present product presentations and demonstrations
• Follow up on quoted opportunities
• Provide win / loss reasons in customer relationship management system
• Administer sales quotes register
• Provide effective after-sales service to customers
• Create and maintain relationships with new stakeholders
• Gather customer information to identify new opportunities
