Job Summary Statement The incumbent will be responsible to for the Sales and Support of Cross Divisional Products and Solutions within Automation and Control Solutions. This function is responsible for the creation and maintenance of sustainable customer relationships.
Minimum Requirements ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Matric Certificate
• N6 Qualification with Process Instrumentation and Control Engineering or equivalent
• Industrial Trade Test

EXPERIENCE:
• At least two to three years relevant sales experience
• Five years industry experience
• Proven Sales record in the industry
• Drivers Licence Code: EB

Duties & Responsibilities • Determine customer needs and effectively market products and solutions
• Develop and implement SPI sales strategies, initiatives, business plan (Product, Industry, Customer)
• Face to face consultative selling
• Monthly sales forecast report for day to day sales and project sales
• Meet and exceed allocated sales targets
• Engineering and solution assistance to customers in consultation with Product Specialist
• Use instrument sizing and selection programs or manual calculations to determine customer needs
• Present product presentations and demonstrations in conjunction with Product Specialist
• Follow up on potential opportunities
• Where product value is below $500 000.00, assume responsibility as sales lead for the region
• Determine specification / standard for allocated customer
• Administer sales quotes register and company CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
• Provide effective after-sales service to customers
• Maintain and improve relationships with high level stakeholders
• Project based opportunities to be identified and pursued in addition to normal sales pursuits
• Coach / assist / develop other sales consultants as they are appointed
