Marketing and Sales Director (Construction)

implementing  marketing strategies and plans to drive the Company,s Manufacturing revenue and growth. This would be attained through establishing and maintaining effective relationships both internally and externally, networking effectively to deepen existing relationships and attract new customers.




  • Developing and executing the Sales and Marketing strategy in line with the Operating Group’s strategy
  • Developing and managing the Sales and Marketing Budget
  • Providing direction and high level functional guidance to the business in respect of market intelligence and the implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Ensure sales force effectiveness in order to grow revenue
  • Conducting regular market assessments to quantify opportunities and uncovering new opportunities via primary and/or secondary research
  • Ensuring the prospect pipeline is regularly updated and accurate
  • In conjunction with the Commercial function, review tenders and negotiate contracts
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral in brand building to raise our brand equity
  • Provide direction on how to optimise for better results
  • Developing Sales & Marketing metrics in order to evaluate the OG’s marketing impact
  • Managing client relationships, surveys and perceptions
  • Managing the performance of Sales teams



  • Technical business qualification or equivalent is essential
  • A post graduate qualification in Sales & Marketing an added advantage
  • An MBA qualification will be an added advantage



  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years Marketing & Sales experience is essential
  • Industry knowledge and experience is essential
  • At least 8 years’ leadership experience in leading sales teams
  • Solid financial experience
  • Previous role in operations essential
