At least 15 years senior sales and general management experience
preferably in a medium to large enterprise with matrix organisation.
Understanding of various end user segments in mining,
manufacturing and agriculture.
Understanding of wholesale and retail distribution markets.
Strong leadership skills and experience with a large team.
Responsible for a sales turnover of at least R40 m and a staff complimentmore than 150 people.
Exposure to the industrial/electrical/mechanical engineering consumablebusiness with experience in managing contracts.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
A stable career history with a demonstrable track record of success.
Strategic planning, organizing, leading and controlling.
Responsible for overall financial performance (P&L) for the business
and brand portfolio,
operational efficiencies/ effectiveness and support functions (HR,
Finance, Sales and Marketing in collaboration with the MD), IT, SupplyChain, SHEQ) with particular emphasis on enhancing the image of the
Formulation and Implementation of local and export strategies.
