 Matric with maths and science

 Must be computer literate

 Must have a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle

 Tertiary education in relevant field, minimum 5 year’s Sales Management experience

 At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

 SYSPRO –ERP knowledge would be an advantageous



 Dynamic, highly motivated individual

 Must be a self-starter/finisher

 Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

 Must be well organised and analytical

 Creative thinker with a flair for customer service and negotiations



 Responsible for the establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the company business plan for all branches within the business network.

 Responsible for providing an annual Sales Plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan.

 Responsible for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with all of the functional departments of the company and most specifically with Finance.

 Establish both market and target customer strategies for the company.

 Responsible for the successful management of the needs of the company customers in order to meet the objectives of the company’s overall business plans and strategies.

 The position specifically is responsible for field sales, internal sales and all customer sales support functions of the business.

 Spend a significant portion of time in the field both with individual customers.

 Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies.

 Define and lead the strategy and business plan for growth and performance of all Sales Channels in the region ensuring alignment and consistency with corporate strategy and products and service offerings.

 Establish, develop and manage new business opportunities and relationships in new areas while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and growth objectives.

 Ensure achievement of sales revenue and acquisition targets on a consistent basis in line with defined budgets and the setting of branch and regional specific KPI’s and Performance targets.

 Lead implementation programs and initiatives to deliver continuous improvements in the end-to end customer experience to increase customer loyalty, advocacy and life-time values ensuring timely resolution of customer issues within SLAs and customer expectations and a consistent customer experience across all touch points.

 Lead and oversee the field marketing activities in the region ensuring performance, increased visibility and equity of the company brand, improved reporting, and improved relationships with all stakeholder to increase growth in the target markets.
