Job Summary Statement The incumbent will be responsible for the Sales of Cross Divisional Products and Solutions within Automation and Control Solutions. This function is responsible for the creation and maintenance of sustainable customer relationships. This role will focus on the sale of on-off valves and related products.
• Grade 12
• N3 preferably with Process Instrumentation, where N3 is a minimum requirement
• N6 would be preferable
• Industrial Trade Test in Instrumentation (advantageous)EXPERIENCE:
• Two years industry experience
• Sales experience required
• Process Plant Knowledge (advantageous)
• Drivers Licence Required
Duties & Responsibilities • Pursue new customers
• Follow sales strategies in alignment with SPI methodology
• Face to face consultative selling
• Monthly sales forecast report for day to day sales
• Execute defined sales strategies to win and meet sales budget
• Consult with internal support structures for engineering solutions to assist customers
• Gather data required for sizing and selection, refer to sales support and internal resources for solutions
• Present product presentations and demonstrations
• Follow up on quoted opportunities
• Provide win / loss reasons in customer relationship management system
• Administer sales quotes register
• Provide effective after-sales service to customers
• Create and maintain relationships with new stakeholders
• Gather customer information to identify new opportunities
